Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how I'm So Hungry, LLC ("we," "us," "I'm So Hungry") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites (imsohungry.com and tucsoneats.com) and our mobile applications: the Customer app, the Driver app, and the Restaurant (Merchant) app, published under the imsohungry.com and Tucson Eats names (collectively, the "Service"). The Service connects customers with local restaurants and delivery drivers in Tucson, Arizona.

Information We Collect

• Account information: phone number, name (if provided), and email address. For guest checkouts, we generate a placeholder email associated with your phone number.
• Delivery address: street address, city, ZIP code, and approximate latitude/longitude. This is required to match you with nearby restaurants and drivers and to deliver your order.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We retain only the last four digits, the card brand, and a Stripe-issued reference token used to charge future orders.
• Order history: items ordered, restaurant, driver, totals, timestamps, and order status.
• Push notification tokens: if you allow push notifications, we receive an anonymous device token from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send you order updates.
• Location: see the "Location Information" section below. The Customer app may use your approximate location to find nearby restaurants; the Driver app collects precise location while a driver is online or on a delivery; the Restaurant app does not collect location.
• Photos and camera: the Driver app can use the camera to take a profile picture or a proof-of-delivery photo; the Restaurant app can use the camera or photo library to add menu and profile pictures. Photos are used only for those purposes.
• Device and log information: Android or iOS version, app version, IP address, basic crash and performance data.

Location Information

Customer app and websites. If you allow location access, we use your device's approximate location, only while you are using the app or site, to show restaurants near you and to pre-fill your delivery address. You can decline location access and type your address instead.

Driver app. The Driver app collects your device's precise GPS location while you are signed in and marked online, and while a delivery is in progress, including in the background when the app is not on screen, so that an active delivery can be tracked without keeping the phone unlocked. We use driver location to: offer you deliveries near you; show the restaurant and the customer where their order is while it is on the way; provide turn-by-turn navigation through Google Maps or Apple Maps; record pickup and drop-off for proof of delivery and pay calculations; and detect fraud. Your location is shared only with the restaurant and the customer of the order you are delivering, for the duration of that delivery, and is processed by Google Maps and Apple Maps services for navigation. Location is not collected when you are offline or signed out. Location points tied to a delivery are kept with that order's record for the retention period described below; other location points are deleted within 30 days. You can stop location collection at any time by going offline in the app or by revoking the location permission in your phone's settings; the app cannot accept deliveries without it.

Restaurant (Merchant) app. The Restaurant app does not collect device location.

How We Use Your Information

• Process and deliver your orders.
• Share necessary order details (your name, address, phone) with the restaurant and the delivery driver assigned to your order.
• Send you order status updates by push notification, SMS, or in-app message.
• Enable masked phone calls and text messages between you and your driver through Twilio. Calls go through a proxy phone number so your real phone number is not exposed to the driver, and the driver's real number is not exposed to you.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations (taxes, disputes, law enforcement requests).

How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the parties needed to complete your order or operate the Service:

• Restaurants: the name, items, and instructions for your order.
• Delivery drivers: your delivery address and a masked phone number for the duration of the delivery.
• Customers and restaurants (driver location): a driver's live position during a delivery is shown to the customer and the restaurant of that order only.
• Google Maps / Apple Maps: location data for maps and navigation inside the apps.
• Stripe: payment information for charge processing.
• Twilio: phone numbers for masked call and SMS routing.
• Google Firebase: anonymous device tokens for push notifications and basic crash analytics.
• Amazon Web Services: hosting infrastructure for our application and database.
• Law enforcement or government: only when legally required.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain order records and account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Payment tokens are kept for as long as you choose to keep a saved card on file.

Your Choices

• Location: you can allow or revoke location access at any time in your phone's settings; drivers can also stop collection by going offline.
• Notifications: you can disable push notifications and SMS at any time from your device settings.
• Saved cards: you can remove saved cards from your account settings on the website or app.
• Account deletion: contact us at the email below to delete your account and associated personal information, subject to retention required for legal or tax purposes.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page when we do. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
